I had the opportunity to illustrate a colorful board book based on lyrics from classic rock songs.

Original sketch with Sgt. Pepper era John Lennon waving at a seahorse.
Updated the final with the girl looking more Nena-like.
Early sketch had a Bowie from the Let's Dance era.
I had to revise "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" because the art director thought her kaleidoscope eyes looked like "she was on drugs." I reimagined her in a BASE jumping wingsuit.
