Maps

I've been fortunate to collaborate with clients on illustrated map projects, transforming geographic data into compelling visual narratives that invite exploration and wonder.

An art director loved my DR map and requested a similar one for a book on hot sauce:

Mexico:
Regional Food Map

Another art director for Better Homes & Gardens assigned me a job for 1 large map of Mexico and 7 smaller maps for a special issue highlighting regional Mexican cusine. Inspired by Mexican hand-painted signs, I hand-lettered all the text and illustrations in ink, scanned them and assembled and colored in Photoshop.
